    李冰与二郎神

          有方外士,为言蜀道永康军城外崇德庙,乃祠李太守父子也。太守名冰,秦时人,尝守其地。有龙为孽,太守捕之,且凿崖中断,分江水一派入永康,锁孽龙于离堆之下,有功于蜀,人至今德之,祠祭甚盛。每岁用羊至四万余,凡买羊以祭,偶产羔者亦不敢留,永康藉羊税以充郡计。江乡人今亦祠之,号曰“灌口二郎,每祭但烹一膻,不设他物,盖有自也。”(南宋.曾敏行《独醒杂志》卷五)
        可能四川同时流传着镇龙的灌口二郎神的传说,于是和李冰的传说混同起来了。宋徽宗佞道,始将二郎神封为二郎真君。大约到了元明,二郎神便与历史上实有的人物赵昱、杨戬混为一谈了(赵昱隋代人,杨戬宋代人)。我最近对敢于和神明灵物对抗的中国传说很感兴趣。众所周知,中国人很猥琐,总是不太愿意和神明较劲的。像李冰这样敢于捕锁龙的太守传说真是太诡异了。

    中国人不跟神明灵物较劲的原因应该不是出于敬畏吧。举个最简单的例子来说,孙悟空大闹天空的故事中国人是很津津乐道的,当然没有一个中国人敢于大闹天宫的,闹土地庙都不敢。但是如果有个孙猴子乱闹一下,中国人却会哈哈笑。
